Writing Camp offers a full range of programs designed to produce genuine results. Every course focuses on practical steps that will help anyone write more quickly, clearly, and effectively.
All Writing Camp courses build on what participants already can do to help them achieve more. For participants with limited language skills, Writing Camp won’t teach them English – but it will teach them how to communicate far more fluently with their limited English.
Writing Camp programs can be held at offices or off-site as part of conventions, retreats, incentives or other special events. They can also be appropriate as a part of a school curriculum or as a special course offering by affinity groups and other organizations.

Writing Camp Basic Training – full day plus individual coaching Our flagship course is a full day of hands-on learning. Participants apply Writing Camp’s exclusive 10 step process to complete tasks from their own inbox (or mock assignments, as preferred). Writing and other exercises establish and reinforce the value of the 10 step framework. Participants develop a systematic apprmoach to writing useful for any assignment. At the end of the session, Writing Camp counselors evaluate participant’s in-session work and deliver feedback in person or by email. Writing Camp Fundamentals – half-day Learn the fundamental principles of good writing, including Writing Camp’s exclusive 10 step process, in an action-packed full morning or afternoon. This course is identical to Writing Camp Basic Training but without the full length writing exercise. The course can stand alone, or be incorporated with a writing assignment, with or without evaluation and feedback from Writing Camp counselors.
